Delivery

All delivery is free worldwide. The artwork is carefully packed and wrapped with multiple layers to protect the artwork. Any material that comes into contact with the surface of the work is archival quality. The artwork is shipped by UPS. All artwork is insured. The artwork is shipped from Derbyshire in the UK.

Original Artworks

All artworks on this site are originals created by contemporary artist Martin D Hyde. All artwork is signed and will come with a certificate of authenticity.

Do You Sell Art Prints?

There are currently no plans to create art prints for sale.

How is artwork priced

All artwork is priced by size on a sliding scale. This creates consistent pricing across all artworks. 

Do you do commisions and how much do they cost.

Yes, please get in contact to discuss your requirements. Commisions are more expensive than their equivalent sized non-commisioned painting.

Can I See The Artwork Before I Buy?

Yes, please email or call on (0)7775 758131 to arrange a studio visit in Wirksworth in Derbyshire. If the distance is a problem, we are happy to do additional photographs or videos of the artwork. We do offer a 7 day returns policy - see below.

Can I Pick Up Purchased Artwork Directly & Meet Martin?

Yes. Simply purchase the artwork on the site and make a note on the checkout to say you would like to pick up the artwork and meet Martin, and we will arrange a suitable time to come to the studio. 

Can I pay for artwork in installments?

Yes, please get in contact to discuss.

Artwork Return Policy

From the time you receive your original artwork from our couriers, you have seven (7) days to decide whether to keep the work or return the artwork in its original condition for a refund.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

We also require all returned artwork to be shipped out by the buyer within three (3) days after confirming with us that the work will be returned. So, if you receive artwork you’ve purchased from mdhyde.com and are not fully satisfied, you have:

  1. Seven (7) days to contact us about your intent to return the work
  2. Three (3) days from the day you contacted us to ship out the artwork. ***Do not ship the artwork before contacting us; you must first contact us.***

If you do not notify us of your intent to return the work within 7 days of receipt or you do not ship the work within 3 days of notifying us, you will NOT be eligible for a refund. (Some exceptions will apply. Please contact us for an assessment of your specific situation.)

How to Return an Original, Undamaged Work

Step 1 – Within seven (7) days of your merchandise delivery date, please email support@mdhyde.com to give us your order information and the reason for wanting to return the work.

Step 2 – Carefully repackage the artwork using the original packaging materials.

Step 3 – Arrange your delivery via UPS or Fed Ex with insurance to the value of the piece. Send to 17 Bower Closer, Ashbourne, Derbyshire. DE6 1TA. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.  

What to Do If the Artwork Arrives Damaged

In the unlikely event of the artwork being damaged in transit please follow the following steps.

Step 1 – Within seven (7) days of your merchandise delivery date, please email support@mdhyde.com to give us your order information.

Step 2 - Save original packaging!

Step 3 - Take photos of damaged artwork and packaging. Please email these photos to support@mdhyde.com.com.

Step 4 - A mdhyde.com support representative will contact you to discuss next steps.
