Human Collection

The Human series is a collection of figurative abstract paintings. The series explores the connection to landscape, identity and relationships. I saw the figurative elements in the paintings as a kind of human landform - a landscape within a landscape. The local landscape was essential to my recovery and I feel very connected to it. When thinking about my identity I considered the effect of the landscape on my recovery, and what my identity really was.
